Lg Air Conditioners

i have a LG 1tr split air conditioner fitted in my room and a godrej ac in another room thats also 1 tr I wana know whether these AC’s circulate the same air which is present inside the room or it takes fresh air from outside. the rooms are fully closed and air packed so if a power failure occurs.. will we have suffocation?(had not happened yet)
i want to know whether we are breathing the same air which we have exhaled

Onida 1.5 Ton [Heard the Indoor Unit(IDU) is very noisy, Is it true?]
LG 1.5 Ton
Samsung 1.5 Ton

Apart from these, I have an assembler who claims Amtrex Outdoor Unit(ODU) with an imported indoor unit works well.

What Im looking for
1. Very less noise from both IDU and ODU
2. Reliability in the IDU and
3. Good cooling capacity compressor
4. Ofcourse longer life.

Please only those who have bought and used please answer. Most specs on the paper actually dont translate into reality.

However if you can point me to a good review on these models, would appreciate it.

What is the difference between ‘auto’ and ‘on’ on the air conditioner?

In terms of performance, price and service – I am considering the following brands – Daikin, Hitachi, LG, Samsung. Also – Please do provide reasons for why a particular brand or model is better.

I live in a house with no air conditioning. So i was thinking, this summer i would buy my own air conditioner and put it in my window. know any air conditioners you can recomend?

Does it really make a difference whether you have a window air-conditioner in the window vs. on a chair or desk at all?

Guys i am really confused. I m researching since quite some time now and need some guidance.
I checked that O general is the best amongst the ACs and Hitachi comes second. However the prices of both of them are way high compared to the others.
People told me that the other brands like Samsung, LG, Carrier, Bluestar, godrej, voltas,etc. are all the same except for the difference in size and minor difference in prices.
Is godrej that bad? I m getting a 1.2t godrej for a price lesser than Samsung and LG 1T. Should i go for it or any other brand.
Please help me guys i m confused.

Hi, My air conditioner never did it before, but now its been leaking outside, on the ground, Its working fine… But I was just wondering if its ok for it to be doing this… or do I need to tell my land lord. and why does it do this if its ok.
Ya its just leaking water I believe. I mean how do you know?

I have weird old windows with the aftermarket aluminum storms. The frame for the storm is higher than the bottom window sill. Last year we had a lot of air leakage around the air conditioner and the water didn’t drain properly. My hubby won’t put them in again until I figure something out and it’s getting hot up here!

we are in melbourne australia..and are in the process of deciding which split cycle airconditioning system to buy………..but, have no knowledge of which ones are good, and which to avoid…

do you have a split cycle ?
which brand do you have?
would you reccomend it ? why/why not

we are thinking of going with fujitsu…………the company is suggesting LG but ive heard too many bad things about LG…….is this your experience???

I have windows in my dining room that have bars on them. I didn’t put the bars there, this is a place that I’m renting. I would like to install an air conditioner but with the bars there, I don’t see how the air conditioner would fit. Other than removing the bars, which is not an option, is there any other way to install an AC? Do they make ACs that don’t have that large back?

Our window air conditioner stopped running a few evenings ago, despite the fact that it was running perfectly at the time. IT won’t run at all now. The same day, our brand new built-in microwave stopped working. It acts like it is heating things, but they come out cold. Does that seem like more than coincidence? What would cause them to stop working?

I have to put an air conditioner in my living room. its close to 400 sq ft (L shaped)
need help a few things
- select the tonnage? should i go with 2 Ton?
- brand selection. everyone seems to say OGeneral is the best but if i compare the compressor. OGeneral gives Rotary Compressor while LG gives me Reciporactory. I think Reciporactory work better on high temperatures like in india.
- LG is 20k cheaper than OGeneral. is the power consumption that much superioir with OGeneral to justify the added cost.
Only thing i m worried with LG is power consumption. i dont want to save 20k upfront & then end up paying 2k on electricity very month.

I recently got my Air Conditioner serviced befor the on-set of summer. Now when I switch on the Air Conditioner I find some foul smell in the room. Though while sitting in the room, one may not notice much, but when somebody enters the room one immediately gets that smell. Can anybody tell me what can be the problem.

my air conditioner does now power up, it starts up for a few minutes but it does not cool the place up. it hums for aboot 5 mins then shuts off it does it every 5 to ten minutes on and off on and off what can be the problem ?

I am going to need a window air conditioner this year. But the new apartments I am living in have windows that slide side to side, not up and down. My question is, how do I install a window air conditioner in this kind of window? It was so much easier in my last apartments because I could just pull the window down on it and slide out the attachments and me done.

If you turn the key twice so its just b4 starting will the air conditioner work? someone said it wouldn’t but when i turn it twice the air conditioner light turns on!

I have a fairly open upstairs apartment. The living room and dining room are mostly the open part. The kitchen is down a sliiiight hall from the dining room, and then off that is another small hall with my 3 bedrooms and bathroom.

Should I buy one big air conditioner or a few small ones?
